PINK Friday: Top Reasons Why You Should Support The Small Business Boutiques on this Special Day!

Spend all your money with huge retailers on Black Friday like everyone else. Or not...! Instead, shop at small boutiques and make a world of a difference to a local shop possibly owned by a woman, single mom, or neighbor family. Keep our local economy thriving. The women owners of a local shop or small online boutique are often model citizens who are entrepreneurs creating new solutions for our community, living and giving to local charities and serving in this world.

I am excited about Pink Friday and doing my part to advance this retail movement. Let’s collaborate, cooperate, and set the tone for compassionate, conscious, and conscientious capitalism going forward. This alternative new fun shopping day of the year is Friday, November 19th, 2021.

Please remember the events of 2020 and 2021 crushed and devastated many small businesses.  Many are still working on their economic recovery and bouncing back from the adversities and setbacks accompanied by global lockdowns and supply chain backlogs, and so much more.

Why fade to black Friday madness when you can pursue positive pink?

Smiles, likes, positive comments, reviews, and sharing social media posts also help to boost the traffic of an independent and smaller website.

Ad costs especially during Q4 (the fourth quarter) are astronomical and make it challenging for the little fish to swim with the sharks without being eaten or “priced out”

We can build healthier and more sustainable communities by investing in our heartland- and especially the projects of artists, entrepreneurs, creators, and makers. Small business and local friendly translates to more personalized touches, a higher caliber of service, and joy for all involved. Be and embody the change that you wish to see in the world. Lead by example!

Shop and check out the Shop PINK section of the LifeGuidanceBoutique.com online store. We will have many special products especially for that day in the PINK Apparel and PINK Bling collections. Check out our health and beauty section.  We support many organic as well as locally made and sourced.

In case you are curious, The Boutique Hub created Pink Friday with the intention to remind customers to #ShopSmallFirst. Pink Friday puts “a small business spin on the traditional Black Friday”.

According to Ashley Alderson, CEO, The Boutique Hub

“We know small businesses and the boutique retail industry have been hit hard this year.  These stores often get overlooked on Black Friday, but these are the real businesses we need to be supporting this year.  By creating Pink Friday and positioning it the week prior to Black Friday, we’re able to celebrate those businesses this holiday season and give them their own weekend to shine.”

So now you may be wondering how I can participate and join in on all the fun?  Well, the first thing you can do is spread the word about Pink Friday and why it is fabulous to your friends, family, coworkers, church members, and other members of your community.  (I would tell my friendly barista, neighbors, hair stylist, postal worker, and more…). Pink Friday is rapidly approaching.  Be sure to mark your calendar and get ready for Friday, November 19th, 2021.

Affirmation:
When I shop with a boutique or small business, I am serving & supporting, and I am served & supported.
